Theoria is the philosophical journal of the Serbian Philosophical Society, publishing original scholarly work across philosophical fields and traditions.

HISTORY
Following a two-year interruption in the publication ofFilosofija, an extraordinary assembly of the Philosophical Society of Serbia, held on 9 May 1976, elected a new publishing council, editorial board and Editor-in-Chief. It was then decided that the new journal would be titled Theoria. Its first Editor-in-Chief and responsible editor was Aleksandar Kron.
Since 1976, Theoria has been published without interruption. Initially it appeared twice a year as a double issue; by the early 1980s it had moved to four issues annually.
From 1991 onward, Theoria has been a philosophical journal in the strict sense. Over its history it has published original scholarly articles, translations, reviews and critical discussions while remaining open to different philosophical schools and approaches.
In 2026, Theoria marks fifty years of continuous publication.
